Was asked to give my opinion on these two pins.  I am going to post my opinion tomorrow but I would like your thoughts. Please use letter that best gives your answer. I have included pinpics.com to help.  Please state a reason orvtwo for your answer.  Go!

A.  Both Real

B.  Both Fake

C.  Goofy real and Mickey fake.

D.  Mickey real and Goofy fake.

E.  I have no clue

First thing i did was look at both post.  If the pin is same series the post should be same.  The post with the X i ruled out because its a cheaper version.  Disney did have similar post pre 2008 but since i have the old post and the new post on same series I automatically ruled out Goofy as Authentic.  Obviously there are more reasons to rule that pin out but just the road i took this time.

Then i pulled up pinpics.com.  Right off you can see that the color is off.  Best way to check color is look at one area at a time and see if color not only matches but if areas that color is in on pinpics... that color is in every spot on pin checking.  A common mistake in fakes is to have a minor area of color missed and replaced with different color.

Finally.  Read between the lines.  If you look at the letters they should be clean.  You should be able to read each letter and they should not look like they are bleeding into each other.  Pinpics shows how the lettering looks.  On the fake the E in Mickey  almost looks like a block. The One Disney Dollar looks like the letters are touching in several spots.

Correct answer is B.  Unfortunately both are fakes in my opinion.
